Flicker was a tiny dragon, no bigger than a teacup. All the other little dragons in Sparkle Valley could puff out little wisps of smoke, and some could even make a tiny spark. But Flicker? Flicker couldn't make fire at all. He tried puffing and huffing, but only a little puff of air came out.

One sunny afternoon, Flicker was exploring near the Whispering Waterfall. He saw his friend, Barnaby the badger, looking very sad. "What's wrong, Barnaby?" chirped Flicker.

"My favorite shiny pebble rolled into a dark cave," Barnaby sniffled. "It's too dark to see!"

Flicker felt a little worried. He couldn't make fire to light the way. But then, he remembered something. He took a deep breath and focused. He puffed out a gentle stream of air. To his surprise, the air wasn't just air! It glowed with a soft, warm light, like a firefly's lantern. "Whoa!" he whispered.

He blew the gentle, glowing air into the cave. The light bounced off the walls, and there, glinting in the soft glow, was Barnaby's shiny pebble! Barnaby cheered and grabbed his pebble. "Thank you, Flicker! Your special light saved the day!"

Flicker giggled. He might not breathe fire, but his special glowing air was perfect for helping his friends. From that day on, Flicker loved to use his gentle light to find lost things and explore dark places. He learned that being different wasn't a bad thing at all; it just meant he had his own special way of shining.
