Little Leo is a brave astronaut in cozy star-patterned pajamas. As the moon rises, Leo climbs into his soft, glowing spaceship bed. With a gentle hum, the bed lifts off into the quiet, velvety night. First, Leo floats past Mercury, a small, silver marble. 'Goodnight, little planet,' Leo whispers, and the planet glows softly in response. Next, he cruises by Venus, which sparkles like a bright, warm lantern in the deep blue sky. Leo waves a sleepy hand and drifts toward Earth, our beautiful home. He sees the city lights blinking like sleepy fireflies and feels happy to be part of the big, wide universe. Past the red dust of Mars he goes, sailing through the peaceful silence of space. He reaches the giant, striped Jupiter, who seems to tuck the stars in with a slow, swirling dance. Saturn waves a hello with his dusty, glittering rings, a lullaby of cosmic light. Finally, Leo reaches the very edge of the sky, where the distant, twinkling stars are waiting for their rest. 'Goodnight, bright friends,' he murmurs, his eyelids growing heavy. The stars blink back slowly, a rhythmic pattern of soft white light. His spaceship turns around, gliding smoothly through the velvet dark. Back at home, the spaceship settles down on a soft, fluffy cloud of pillows. Leo snuggles deep under his quilt. He knows that no matter how far he travels, he is always safe, loved, and ready to dream. The entire universe is tucked in, and it is time for Leo to drift off into his own quiet dreams of tomorrow's adventures. Goodnight, space. Goodnight, little astronaut.
